Meet Dr. Hernández

Mitch Hernández, DMD

Dr. Hernández was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated from Louisville Male High School in 2001 and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville in 2009. He spent five years in active duty with the U.S. Army, supported Operation Enduring Freedom on a one-year deployment in Afghanistan, and was selected for a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program back in the states. He currently serves as a member of the Army Reserves.

Dr. Hernández enjoys making people healthier by providing excellent dental care. Outside of the practice, his hobbies include traveling, seeing movies, and spending time with his wife, Nirvana, and their daughter Alana.
